It was assigned to Titanosauria by Mannion and Calvo (2011); to Titanosauriformes by Wilson and Upchurch (2009), Xing et al. (2012); to Macronaria by Mannion et al. (2013); and to Somphospondyli by Wang et al. (2007), D'Emic (2012), Mannion et al. (2019), Apesteguía et al. (2021).
