Biropristis landbecki
Taxonomy
Biropristis landbecki was named by Suárez and Cappetta (2004). Its type specimen is SGO-PV-800, a set of teeth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Algarrobo (lower Quiriquina Formation), which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the Quiriquina Formation of Chile. It is the type species of Biropristis.
