Pseudohypolophus mcnultyi

Taxonomy
Hypolophus mcnultyi was named by Thurmond (1971). Its type specimen is SMU 62208, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Glass Local Fauna, which is in an Albian marine horizon in the Paluxy Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Pseudohypolophus mcnultyi by Cappetta and Case (1975), Cappetta (1987), Landemaine (1991), Canudo et al. (1996), Kriwet (1999), Cappetta and Case (1999), Cicimurri (2000), Becker et al. (2004), Cicimurri (2004), Cook et al. (2008), Becker et al. (2010), Hoganson et al. (2019), Maisch et al. (2021), Juranek and Shimada (2025).
