Taxonomy
Squatirhina kannensis was named by Herman (1977). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tranchée de Caster, Albert Canal (coprolite horizon), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Maastricht Formation of Belgium.
