Peyeria libyca
Taxonomy
Peyeria libyca was named by Weiler (1935). Its type specimen is BSP 1912 VIII 143, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Base of Gebel Maghrafe, bed n, which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine claystone in the Bahariya Formation of Egypt. It is the type species of Peyeria.
