Proheterodontus sylvestris
Taxonomy
Proheterodontus sylvestris was named by Underwood and Ward (2004). Its type specimen is BMNH P.66068, a set of teeth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Watton Cliff, Dorset [Forest Marble Fm], which is in a Bathonian marine limestone in the Forest Marble Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Proheterodontus.
