Taxonomy
Pseudoschloenbachia was named by Spath (1921) [Sepkoski's age data: K Sant-l K Camp-l]. Its type is Ammonites umbulazi.

It was assigned to Lenticeratinae by Wright (1952), Matsumoto (1959); to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002); and to Muniericeratidae by Kennedy and Cobban (1991), Kennedy and Cobban (1993), Kennedy (1995), Ifrim et al. (2013).
