Pentaedrusaurus ordosianus
Taxonomy
Pentaedrusaurus ordosianus was named by Li (1989). Its type specimen is IVPP V8735, a partial skeleton (including slightly damaged skull and lower jaw, most dorsal vertebrae, incomplete pectoral and pelvic girdles, fore and hind limbs), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mazhen, which is in an Olenekian/Anisian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Heshanggou Formation of China.
