Taxonomy
Neodimorphoceras armstrongi was named by Currie (1954). It is not extant. Its type specimen is R.S.M. 1884.46.911, a shell. Its type locality is Castlecary, which is in an Arnsbergian carbonate limestone in the Upper Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
