Taxonomy
Miltha (Miltha) carmenae was named by Vokes (1969). Its type specimen is USNM 646409, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 201 - Belle Glade (unnamed Post-Caloosahatchee), which is in a Pleistocene coastal horizon in Florida.
