Shenzhoupterus chaoyangensis
Taxonomy
Shenzhoupterus chaoyangensis was named by Lü et al. (2008). Its type specimen is HGM 41HIII- 305A, a skeleton (Complete skull and postcranium), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Chaoyang pterosaurs (PROXY), which is in an Aptian lacustrine horizon in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
