Naranius americanus
Taxonomy
Naranius americanus was named by Beard and Dawson (2009). Its type specimen is CM 81283, a tooth (left m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Red Hot, which is in a Wasatchian estuary/bay sandstone in the Tuscahoma Formation of Mississippi.
