Eogale parydros
Taxonomy
Eogale parydros was named by Beard and Dawson (2009). Its type specimen is CM 70463, a tooth (right p4), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Red Hot, which is in a Wasatchian estuary/bay sandstone in the Tuscahoma Formation of Mississippi. It is the type species of Eogale.
