Jidapterus edentus
Taxonomy
Jidapterus edentus was named by Dong et al. (2003). Its type specimen is CAD-01, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Chaoyang pterosaurs (PROXY), which is in an Aptian lacustrine horizon in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
It was synonymized subjectively with Chaoyangopterus zhangi by Zhou and Wang (2010).
