Amphechinus ellicottae
Taxonomy
Amphechinus ellicottae was named by Martin and Lim (2004) [listed as Amphechinus ellicotti (lapsus calami) in figure caption on p. 203]. Its type specimen is UNSM 11674, a mandible (left ramus with I1, P4, M2-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Van Tassel (Lower), which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.
