Y.-h. Xi 1994 | Shell small to medium in Size, rotelliform, about 7— 8 volutions. Whorls gradating, with upper shell surface roundedly arch in early 3— 4 volutions, and then becoming concave downward,Shell surface ornamentation m arked by carinae; interspace of these carinae with 1-2 spiral lines. Carinae fairly well—distributed on periphery, gradually becoming denser at basal part; spiral costae sparse at the intersection. Spiral lines below the selenizone more than 23 in number at last whorl, revolving eostae of the upper shell surface not preserved in most conditions, with a coarser spiral costae preserved in a few specimens. Slit band wide, becoming concave downward, bounded by two coarser spiral costae. Umbilicus perhaps smaller, aperture angular_ with other character unknown. |
