Taxonomy
Sinuitina (Spirilira) tenuis was named by Pinilla et al. (2007). Its type specimen is MLP 30387, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Honda, which is in an Artinskian marine sandstone in the Mojon de Hierro Formation of Argentina.
