Pararotasaccus permicus
Taxonomy
Pararotasaccus permicus was named by Kozur and Mostler (1989). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype KoMo 1988 1-3/IV-55 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rupe del Passo di Burgio, Sosio Valley, which is in a Wordian offshore limestone in Italy. It is the type species of Pararotasaccus.

H. Kozur and H. Mostler 1989 | Wheels circular to subcircular with constantly 6 spokes tapering toward the wheels. Hub centrally higher than rim. Lower surface of hub in a relatively small inner part deeply excavated. Arches basically triradiate. These 3 primary branches are bibranchiated shortly after the centre. Near to the margin some of the secondary branches are secondarily branched. |
