Taxonomy
Bipedis patricki was named by Carter et al. (1998). Its type locality is S5-4-86-OF-KUB-3 Kunga Island, which is in a Sinemurian basinal (siliciclastic) limestone/siltstone in the Sandilands Formation of Canada.
