Santanadactylus brasilensis
Taxonomy
Santanadactylus brasilensis was named by Buisonjé (1980). Its type specimen is Geol. Institute Univ. Amsterdram 4894, a set of limb elements (Partial humerus, scapula-coraocid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Santanadactylus.
