Pseudotubithyris roettingensis
Taxonomy
Terebratula roettingensis was named by Rollier (1918). Its type specimen is Inst. Mus. Tubingen Br. 3/50/26 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Röttingen, Parkinsoni Oolith, which is in a Bajocian marine horizon in the "Parkinsoni Oolith" Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Pseudotubithyris roettingensis by Alméras (1970); it was recombined as Wattonithyris roettingensis by Atrops and Alméras (2005).
