Brasileodactylus araripensis
Taxonomy
Brasileodactylus araripensis was named by Kellner (1984). Its type specimen is MN 4804–V, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.
