Yakovlevia transversa

Taxonomy
Muirwoodia transversa was named by Cooper (1957). Its type specimen is USNM 125339 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UO 2201-2, Grindstone-Twelvemile Creek area, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone/sandstone in the Coyote Butte Formation of Oregon.

It was recombined as Yakovlevia transversa by Nelson and Nelson (1985), Shi and Waterhouse (1996).
