Taxonomy
Lacisus siphunculus was named by Kozur (1993). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample 655, Pietra di Salomone, which is in a Wuchiapingian basinal (siliciclastic) claystone in Italy. It is the type species of Lacisus.
