Pacifichelys urbinai
Taxonomy
Pacifichelys urbinai was named by Parham and Pyenson (2010). Its type specimen is UNMSM 1447, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerro Colorado (Pisco, Tortonian), which is in a Tortonian marine horizon in the Pisco Formation of Peru. It is the type species of Pacifichelys.
