Taxonomy
Obdurodon dicksoni was named by Archer et al. (1992). Its type specimen is QM F20564, a skull (skull with L and RP1-2/), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ringtail Site, which is in a Langhian/Serravallian fluvial horizon in Australia.
