Orycteropus minutus
Taxonomy
Orycteropus minutus was named by Pickford (1975). Its type specimen is KNM SO 1231, a set of limb elements (right metacarpals II and III), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Songhor (Main Site), which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial horizon in Kenya.
