Pengornis houi
Taxonomy
Pengornis houi was named by Zhou et al. (2008). Its type specimen is IVPP V15336, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton preserved in partial articulation), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dapingfang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
