Taxonomy
Pachyrhinosaurus lakustai was named by Currie et al. (2008). Its type specimen is TMP 1986.55.258, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pipestone Creek Bonebed (RTMP), which is in a Campanian crevasse splay siltstone/sandstone in the Wapiti Formation of Canada.
