Taxonomy
Hyalosinica was named by Steiner et al. (1993) [Mehl and Reitner in Steiner et al., 1993]. It is not extant. Its type is Hyalosinica archaica.

It was assigned to Dictyospongiinae by Finks et al. (2004).
