It was reranked as Isognomon (Mytiloperna) by Sha (1995) and Ros-Franch et al. (2014).

It was assigned to Pterioida by Sepkoski (2002); to Isognomonidae by Aberhan et al. (2004) and Scholz et al. (2008); and to Isognomon by Sha (1995) and Ros-Franch et al. (2014).
