Taxonomy

Cladocopina was named by Sars (1866). It is extant.

It was assigned to Halocypridida by Liebau (2005); to Halocyprida by Yamaguchi et al. (2016), Chitnarin (2017); and to Myodocopida by Hazel and Holden (1971), Yuan and Crasquin-Soleau (2007), Sebe et al. (2013), Tanaka (2018).
