Cymatophos turbacoensis
Taxonomy
Phos turbacoensis was named by Anderson (1929). Its type specimen is CAS 4654, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 305, Turbaco, near [Tubará Fm], which is in a Miocene marine siliciclastic in the Tubará Formation of Colombia.
It was recombined as Cymatophos turbacoensis by Hendy et al. (2008).
