Taxonomy
Parafaveoloolithus macroporus was named by Zhang (2010). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is IVPP V16858, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Laijia village, which is in an Albian terrestrial horizon in the Laijia Formation of China.
