Inkayacu paracasensis
Taxonomy
Inkayacu paracasensis was named by Clarke et al. (2010). Its type specimen is MUSM 1444, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton with wing feathering, body contour feathers, and pedal scales), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is southeast of Playa Yumaque, which is in a Priabonian coastal sandstone in the Otuma Formation of Peru. It is the type species of Inkayacu.
