Taxonomy
Parachaetetes dizluensis was named by Senowbari-Daryan et al. (2008). Its type locality is Kuh-e Kaftar, algal reef, which is in a Rhaetian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Nayband Formation of Iran.
