Taxonomy
Sphriganaria bicostata was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Haisiyan Pass, S1457, which is in a Bathonian/Callovian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.
