Taxonomy
Igorellina probosca was named by Feng et al. (1994). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yangshizhuang, Ye Xian, which is in a Nangaoian carbonate dolomite in the Xinji Formation of China.
It was recombined as Fenqiaronia proboscis by Parkhaev (2001).
