Zambiasaurus submersus
Taxonomy
Zambiasaurus submersus was named by Cox (1969). Its type specimen is Livingstone Museum LM/NH 9/2, a partial skeleton (Interparietal, parietal and part of left squamosal), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 15, Upper Luangwa Valley, 3.5 miles west of Sitwe, which is in an Anisian terrestrial mudstone in the Ntawere Formation of Zambia.
