Rahiolisaurus gujaratensis

Taxonomy
Rahiolisaurus gujaratensis was named by Novas et al. (2010). Its type specimen is ISI R550, a set of postcrania (right ilium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rahioli Village, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone/sandstone in the Lameta Formation of India.

Novas et al. 2010A slender-limbed abelisaurid theropod with: (1) premaxillary interdental plates fused and lacking vertical ridges; (2) dental foramina absent; (3) premaxillary teeth with teardrop-shaped cross section; a faint mesial keel but a rounded distal edge; (4) iliac blade with deep caudal notch on postacetabular process; (5) metatarsal I rod-like; and (6) metatarsal II strongly narrow proximally.
