Lunule wider oAns-right valve, escutcheon wider on left valve. Beaks slightly anterior of center, prosogyrate; ligament groove short, narrow, and submerged. Dentition of right valve, a single strong cardinal and an elongate posterior lateral socket. Dentition of left valve, a single strong cardinal and an elongate anterior lateral socket. Into these sockets fit the raised beveled shell margins. |
