Tonniornis mesetaensis
Taxonomy
Tonniornis mesetaensis was named by Tambussi et al. (2006). Its type specimen is MLP 93-X-1-145, a limb element (humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is PU 1057, Seymour Island, which is in a Bartonian coastal sandstone in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica.
