Xanthamphiura hauteriviensis
Taxonomy
Xanthamphiura hauteriviensis was named by Hess (1970). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Pierre-Jaune, Hauterivian, St. Blaise, which is in a Hauterivian shallow subtidal grainstone/marl in the Pierre jaune Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Xanthamphiura.
