Kunpengopterus sinensis
Taxonomy
Kunpengopterus sinensis was named by Wang et al. (2010). Its type specimen is IVPP V16047, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daxishan, Linglongta, which is in a Bathonian/Kimmeridgian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Tiaojishan Formation of China. It is the type species of Kunpengopterus.
