Taxonomy
Huabiella compressa was named by David et al. (2011). Its type specimen is DZP-18686 and is a mold. Its type locality is Klein Gai-As, upper Gai-As Formation, Huab Basin, which is in a Wordian/Capitanian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Gai-As Formation of Namibia.
