Circotherium sivalense
Taxonomy
Chalicotherium sivalense was named by Falconer and Cautley (1847). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sewalik Hills [GENERAL], which is in a Pliocene/Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in India.
It was recombined as Circotherium sivalense by Holland and Peterson (1913); it was recombined as Nestoritherium sivalense by Colbert (1935).
