Boeuvia was named by Chavan (1948) [Sepkoski's age data: T Eo-l T Ol]. It is not extant. Its type is Lucina pulchella.
It was assigned to Divaricellinae by Cox et al. (1969), Vokes (1980); and to Veneroida by Sepkoski (2002).
