Machairasaurus leptonychus
Taxonomy
Machairasaurus leptonychus was named by Longrich et al. (2010). Its type specimen is IVPP V15979, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SCDP, Bayan Mandahu [non-specific locality data], which is in a Campanian dune sandstone in the Bayan Mandahu Formation of China.
