Taxonomy
Cypricardinia eopermica was named by Biakov (2005). Its type specimen is SVKNII 1/02-04/80, a valve (Left valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Outcrop 11, Bed 1, Rulon Creek, Munugudzhak River, Omolon Basin, which is in an Artinskian coastal sandstone in the Munugudzhak Formation of the Russian Federation.
