Borealaspis whittakerensis
Taxonomy
Borealaspis whittakerensis was named by Ludvigsen (1976) [Paratypes: GSC 44225-44227. Hypotypes: GSC 44228, 44229 (Ludvigsen, 1979)]. Its type specimen is GSC 40450, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Southwestern District of Mackenzie, Prairie Creek (C-655), which is in a Wildernessian carbonate limestone in the Whittaker Formation of Canada.
